Readers About To Learn “God’s Purpose For the Wait”

Readers in Barbados will be attending book signing party for the upcoming release: God’s Purpose For The Wait – Restarting Life With God After A Breakup.

Christian author Vicki Olton writes this inspirational teaching book. Through her testimony and relevant Scripture, gives single women and men around the world, sound advice on the importance of waiting rather than running into the hands of the next partner for solace after a breakup.

Vicki states, “Sometimes relationships throw so much at us and before we know it we find ourselves moving into the next relationship without becoming whole and healed. This can only be detrimental for all parties involved. God’s Purpose For The Wait tells readers why this is not the best approach to take and outlines what God requires.”

God’s Purpose For The Wait is available in both print and digital format. The book will be available for purchase locally on October 27th at the book signing party at the Pages Bridgetown location, scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM.

Vicki is also the author of four other publications, including LIVE And Not Die, God’s Perfect Timing, Birthing The Purpose God Has Placed In You and most recently The Truth About Abortion. She is also the author of El Tiempo Perfecto de Dios, the Spanish translation of God’s Perfect Timing.

5 Reasons Why God Wants You To Wait In This Season

We all know that we are in the last days and we cannot continue with business as usual and living life the way we lived it before. So if you have just ended a relationship, God wants you to press the pause button now and WAIT. Do not run to another woman or man, run into the arms of God.

There are some very important things that God wants to do in your life in this season. There are some changes that He wants to make. He wants you to move away from a life of fornication so that He can not only prepare you for a beautiful marriage with the one in the future but most importantly, prepare you to walk in the divine purpose for which He created you. He wants you to stop seeking solace in the arms of a partner, and seek Him instead.

Here are 5 reasons why God wants you to WAIT:

  1. God wants to teach you his standard of relationships. Over the years some of us have adopted some not-so-right ideas about relationships. During the waiting process, God will help you unlearn the world’s standard and He will teach you His standard by which you are called to live.
  2. God wants to make you a true worshipper. The word of God tells us that we have been created to worship God. Some of us have worshipped and idolized partners for many years and have neglected the One who created us. As you wait, God will help you come into alignment with your calling of being a true worshipper.
  3. God wants you to live a life of sexual purity. God will use the waiting season to teach you what it means to be sexually pure, why you must remain sexually pure and most importantly, He will help you live a sexually pure life.
  4. God wants to deliver you from your past hurts. There are some real hurts that you have been through; from past relationships and from as far back as childhood. You are not aware that these hindrances have affected your relationships in the past and surely have hindered you from walking in the purpose that God has created you for. God will use the waiting period to help you and remove all these hindrances. This deliverance is extremely necessary.
  5. God wants to prepare you for marriage (if it is His will for your life). Not everyone is called to be married, but if you are, the wait will be used by God to bring you to a place where you are prepared to have a blessed relationship with one man or one woman who is also focused on the kingdom of God. God wants you to walk in a blessed life and walking in this kind of life requires that you wait on God and allow Him to mold you to one day be ready to have an honorable relationship which is a marriage. Not just any marriage but one sanctioned and blessed by God.

These and more points are explained in my book God’s Purpose For The Wait: Restarting Life With God After A Breakup

Will You take God’s Call to WAIT or Will You Proceed to The Next Relationship?

Many of us go through break ups and we run to the next man or woman to comfort us. God wants this to come to an end. God is calling you to WAIT! These are the end times and no more can we continue running from man to man or woman to woman. Now is the time to run to God.

These are the end times and no more can we continue running from man to man or woman to woman. Now is the time to run to God.

This is not to say that God does not want you to be in a relationship, but right now there are some things in your life that He wants to remove. There are some things that He wants to pour into you spiritually and most importantly, there is a divine call on your life that He wants to reveal to you. He wants to show you the importance of living a life of purity in the body, spirit and soul.  These things are more important than your desire for another relationship, so God is calling you to WAIT! God wants you undivided attention in this season.

As a messenger of the end times, God has used me to write God’s Purpose For The Wait:  Restarting Life With God After A Breakup. This book has been written based on my personal experience after a relationship breakup and is not a story about a breakup, but it is a guide for singles which outlines why God wants you to come away from pursuing man and instead, to pursue Him. The book talks about why it is important to pursue a relationship with God and live God’s perfect will, before pursuing a relationship with the opposite sex. The book also talks about God’s desire for you to seek Him first for comfort,

The book talks about why it is important to pursue a relationship with God and live God’s perfect will, before pursuing a relationship with the opposite sex. The book also talks about God’s desire for you to seek Him first for comfort, love and validation, rather than seeking such from other human beings. The book is about the waiting process that God takes you through before moving into another relationship or rather, marriage and the real purpose of the waiting process.

The book is for those who are at the junction of a relationship breakout.  You have two options turn left, and run into another relationship or turn right and run to God.

God’s Purpose For The Wait is therefore, a guide for those who may have been in a cycle of relationship to relationship and still feeling empty. It is for those who have been living in fornication for a while and still found no happiness. The book is also for Christians, who understand the purpose of God’s wait, but may still need to get a better understanding of what to expect from God during their waiting process.

God wants all single persons to recognize in these end times that your eyes must be on Him more so now and ever before.  This is not to say that God does not want you to be involved in a relationship but He wants the single woman and man to come to Him rather than running to another woman or man after a breakup. He, therefore, used my experience to define the wait, why it is important to wait and what He uses to wait to do in our lives.

Encouragement for Christian authors:

Your story or experience is not for you. God will use your story to create a manual for others so that they can come to Christ and live the godly life that He requires them to live.
